With the hotel sector still absent of any tailored Government support, NZHOA has again outlined the financial assistance urgently needed and the specific challenges we face.
While managed isolation hotels have alleviated some pressure in certain areas for the time being, nationally the sector still remains in survival mode.
In our letter to Prime Minister Ardern and the Tourism Recovery Minister’s Group, NZHOA details the extreme pressures hotels are under, especially in areas such as the West Coast of the South Island, Bay of Islands and Southland/Fiordland.
